About Moot Corp

With aspiring entrepreneurs soliciting start-up funds from experienced investors, the MOOT CORP(r) Competition simulates the real-world process of raising venture capital. MBAs from business schools around the globe come to The University of Texas at Austin each May to present their business plans to panels of investors. The best new-venture opportunity is then selected from the myriad offerings. With a 21-year history, MOOT CORP is the oldest operating inter-business school new-venture competition in the world. Participation in the internationally-renowned competition is through invitation or qualifying by winning other competitions.
